June will remain the month for GRTHM in 2009

Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month didn't just celebrate history but made itas well, as Gypsies and Travellers joined forces with others to mark the first annual Gypsy Roma Traveller (GRT) History Month.

Hundreds of events in schools, libraries, museums and cinemas began the long overdue process of educating the public about GRT history and culture.

Another edition of the GRTHM magazine will go out with the 2008 autumn edition of Travellers Times to canvass opinion as to when GRT History Month should be celebrated in 2010 and onwards.
